The SwissPhrase software suite offers a fundamentally different approach — cryptographic steganography. We have combined AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption with the LSB (Least Significant Bit) algorithm so that your data is not just password-locked but literally ceases to exist to prying eyes.

How Does Hiding Text in Photos Work?

The system converts your secret text into a protected byte stream. This stream is then mathematically embedded into the lower bits of the color channels (RGB) of a standard PNG image. Visually, the photo remains absolutely unchanged. The difference in pixel shades is less than 0.4%, making the presence of hidden information physically invisible and indistinguishable from natural camera digital noise.

Zero-Knowledge Architecture and Privacy

The terminal operates on a strict zero-knowledge principle. The system does not store your decryption keys, does not transmit raw data in the clear, and automatically erases all digital traces from the server's RAM immediately after file generation. Your encrypted image is the sole container, which you can safely store on a flash drive, send via messengers, or keep in an open cloud.
